The 114^th GI Council meeting and 28^th Executive Committee (EC) meetings of the GI Council were held on Monday, 24^th July 2023 in Mumbai.

The GI Council and EC meetings are held every quarter wherein all the Council members and the EC members meet face-to-face and deliberate on various issues faced by the non-life insurance industry.

The meeting was convened by Secretary General Mr Inderjeet singh, Chaired by Mr Tapan Singhel, Chairman and attended by all members of the Executive Committee.

Mr KC Lokesh, member EC and Convener, Confederation of General Insurance Agents Insurance Association of India felicitated Mr. Tapan Singhel for organizing the first-ever General Insurance Festival of India(GIFI) on 3^rd July 2023 in Pune which set a new Guinness World Record for largest attendance for an insurance conference.

 Later in the afternoon a meeting of all members of the General Insurance Council and AGM also took place at the same venue.
