Mr Debashish Panda, Chairman, IRDAI visited GI Council office on 28th July 28, 2023, to review the progress on various ongoing projects of the GI Council. He was accompanied by the Member IRDAI, Mr Rakesh Joshi, CGM Health, Mrs Yegnapriya Bharat. It was the first visit of the present Chairman of the IRDAI to the council.

The 114th GI Council meeting and 28th Executive Committee (EC) meetings of the GI Council were held on Monday, 24th July 2023 in Mumbai. The GI Council and EC meetings are held every quarter wherein all the Council members and the EC members meet face-to-face and deliberate on various issues faced by the non-life insurance industry.
