The Common Empanelment Platform is a centralized digital initiative managed by the General Insurance Council (GI Council). It enables hospitals across India to apply for empanelment with all IRDAI-registered General Insurance Companies and Standalone Health Insurance Companies through a single, unified platform.
The platform is designed to standardize and simplify the empanelment process—from application submission to execution of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)—ensuring greater efficiency, transparency, and ease of access for hospitals.

Hospitals are strongly advised not to make any payments or share sensitive information with such entities.
The GI Council shall not be responsible or liable for any loss arising from engagement with such unauthorized or fraudulent parties.
